Among the many interesting characters out there hanging the “Guru” shingle out for all to see, there are a few whose opt-in lists I have not quickly opted right back out of.

For one, there is the omni-present Cody Moya. I’m not sure why I’ve allowed the various ezines and newsletters and emails he sends me to continue to come through, though one of the recent offerings he sent might contain a clue…

Although he was as usual offering something for purchase…and I’m not at all complaining about this…when it’s something I think might be valuable to me I’ll take a chance on it…he did for the first time (that I’ve experienced) include a little intro into his background, specifically his arrival in the US.

I know it’s a basic technique to throw in the tried and true “down-on-my-luck-until-I-discovered-this-secret” blurb in a standard sales pitch, but there is clearly something more genuine in Cody’s tale of starting with so little and building the empire he now commands. And it is an impressive empire, the guy knows what he’s talking about and produces a prodigious amount of material, much of it very educational to someone trying to find their way into the internet business realm.

See for yourself…here’s his blog site…within it you’ll find all kinds of internet marketing guidance in a very clean and easy to navigate site. You’ll also find someone fairly accessible fr one so obviously hard at work. If you’re not on one of his lists you probably wouldn’t have received the email with his personal story, and since it’s his story I don’t think it’s for me to reveal here but you may find it on his blog or, you could just ask him.
